Who Can Apply for Membership?

Anyone who owns, co-owns, or rents an apartment in one of the following buildings—Bayview, Broadwater, Leeward Towers, or Les Colonnades—or has a boat or has a license agreement for a boat in the Bayview Marina can apply for Clipper Club membership. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. Please note that a maximum of two individuals per apartment may become members. We welcome those who value exclusive events and enjoy socializing with fellow members and boat enthusiasts to join our vibrant community.

How do I apply for a Clipper Club Membership?

Applying for a Clipper Club Membership is simple. Visit our website and fill out the NEW membership application and complete your payment details. New applications payments will be billed on prorata basis. Meaning if you join halfway through our annual membership year you will be billed only 50% of the annual membership cost Once your application is submitted, our committee will review and formally approve your application. You will receive a customised Clipper Club keychain with your specific Clipper Club membership number.  Our Membership year is October 1st – September 30th.

Is Membership Required if I Have a Boat at Bayview Harbour Marina?

Yes, membership is required if you have a boat at Bayview Harbour Marina and are not a proprietor in one of the four residential Towers (Bayview Tower, Broadwater Tower, Leeward Tower and Les Colonnades.  As stipulated in the Bayview Harbour Yacht Squadron rules and conditions.

 

How do I renew my membership?

Membership renewals are processed automatically online every year on September 30th. You’ll receive a reminder email 31 days before your membership expires and second email 48 hours before renewal that the auto renewal will be processed on the payment information you provided.   FYI you can cancel your auto renewal membership at any time.

What Are the Different Membership Categories?

– **Owners**: Registered owners, including joint owners, of a unit in Bayview Tower, Broadwater Tower, Leeward Tower, or Les Colonnades.

– **Tenants or Associates**: Residents in any of the four residential towers who have previously been Ordinary Members through ownership or have been approved as Associate Members.

– **Marina Berths**: Boat owners or licensees in Bayview Harbour Marina.

What Is the Difference Between Single and Double Memberships?

**Single Membership**: Allows one person to attend functions and receive club benefits.

**Double Membership**: Allows both you and your partner to attend functions and receive club benefits.

Can I get a refund on my membership?

Refunds for Clipper Club memberships are generally not issued but can be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please refer to our refund policy or contact our support team for more information.

 

Can I bring my partner to a function or Happy Hour if I have a single membership?

Our events are exclusive to Clipper Club members. If you have a Single Membership and wish to bring your partner, they would need to apply for their own membership. Please visit our website to apply or contact our event coordinator for assistance.

Can I bring my friends to Longtide for food or drinks if they are not Clipper Club members?

Yes, you can bring a NON-member or friends to Longtide the restaurant is open to the public. However, please note that discounts are only available to Clipper Club members. Non-members are not permitted to attend exclusive Clipper Club functions.

What benefits does the Clipper Club provide its members?

Members enjoy exclusive benefits, including:

– Access to members-only events and socializing opportunities

– Discounts on exclusive functions at Longtide

– 10% off food and beverages at Longtide (except on Sundays or other specials already applied)

– Giveaways, door prizes, and gifts

– Priority reservations and bookings

How much does it cost for a Clipper Club membership?

What is your refund policy for functions?

If you are unable to attend a function, please inform us as soon as possible. Refunds are generally available up to a specified period before the event date. For detailed refund terms, refer to the REFUND Policy under About Us section on our website.

When are membership renewals due?

Membership renewals are due annually on September 30. Your membership will be automatically renewed, and you’ll receive reminders beforehand. You can cancel your auto renew membership at any time.

Where is the Clipper Club Located?

The Clipper Club owns the building located at 21 Bayview Street, Runaway Bay 4216 QLD.

Can I Dine at Longtide Without a Clipper Club Membership?

Yes, Longtide Restaurant and Bar is open to the public, and no membership is required to dine there.
