ABOUT CLIPPER CLUB
The Clipper Club is an exclusive organisation that was founded in the late 1980’s when renowned builder, Ron McMaster, built the Gold Coast’s first residential-only enclave of prestigious high-rise towers at Bayview Harbour, Runaway Bay.
Great Location
The visionary builder ‘gifted’ the residents the adjoining Marina, land and a building to provide them with a social hub where they could gather and have fun.
Great Community
Three decades later, Ron McMaster’s legacy lives on and the Clipper Club’s home at Long Tide restaurant and bar remains a popular focal point for our combined 350 strong membership.
Great Food
If you are new to Bayview Harbour, or have not yet joined the Clipper Club, do it now. It is a perfect way to make new friends right on your doorstep. Enjoy delicious food and drinks at the newly renovated Long Tide Coastal Pan Asian restaurant.
How It All Began...
In 1984, one of the nicest developer/builders you could ever meet, Ron McMaster, had a vision to build a lifestyle resort comprising four high-rise Towers, two Marinas, a Residences’ Club now called the Clipper Club, a Resident’s luxury Cruiser and to top it off, a full time Harbour Master. Bayview Harbour was born and as you would expect, this was a premium product at a premium per square metre floor rate.
This visionary builder generously provided residents with a dedicated building, establishing a vibrant social hub for gatherings and enjoyment.
Three decades later, Ron McMaster’s legacy endures, and the Clipper Club’s home at Long Tide restaurant and bar continues to be a popular gathering spot for our robust community of 350 plus members. If you’re new to Bayview Harbour or haven’t yet joined the Clipper Club, now is the perfect time to get involved. It’s an excellent opportunity to connect with new friends right at your doorstep while enjoying delicious food and drinks at the newly renovated Long Tide Coastal Pan Asian restaurant.
